Did the original Australian pressing of the first Baby Animals record include the track "Big Time Friends"? The U.S. pressing has it, but the 1992 Australian Tour Collector's Edition only has it as a bonus live track, and the 2008 remastered version doesn't have it at all.
Also, anyone else notice that the song "Buputa" has multiple spellings? In the original U.S. pressing, it is spelled "Buputa" (emphasis added) on the back of the CD and in the lyric sheet. On the 1994 Australian tour pressing, the song is spelled "Bupata" on the song title list but "Buputa" in the lyrics themselves.
On the 2008 remastered version, it is spelled "Bupata" on the back of the CD and as the song title in the lyric sheet, but spelled "Buputa" in the lyrics themselves.
And in both the original U.S. pressing of "Shaved and Dangerous" and in the 2008 remastered version, the lyrics to "Be My Friend" are incomplete. There is a line after "Just to have someone believe in me" but it isn't listed in the lyrics.
Also, ever since the remastered versions came out, if you try to import the original pressing of "Baby Animals" to your iTunes library, it automatically imports the "split" cover from the remastered 2-disc set.
Anyone else notice these things?

The original Australian pressing of "Baby Animals" did not contain Big Time Friends.
It was only included on the U.S. pressing.

`Be My Friend` was written by Paul Rodgers of Free/Bad Company fame....now with Queen, the lyrics are possible a faithful reproduction of the original song and not actually what the BA`s have produced...one theory anyone else feel free to throw another up !!

Bored of my old dress it still has the stains from the time that you came in it, medical benifits, hissy fits heartache and balance, a chemical cause that could offer it all, my spirituality sometimes were brave when all the scary bits, all of the frailties, 3 meals a day, and a don't disturb sign when ur sleepin im keepin the sanity untill u loose yours and then, u can share mine U can have harmony All of me U still need me

Suzi DeMarchi is not your average soccer mom. Sure, over the last few years she’s lived in virtually obscurity as a typical LA suburban housewife happily married with two kids, but she was also once the smoky-voiced femme fatale of Baby Animals, a band feted in the early ‘90s as darlings of Australian hard rock, a band whose FM-ready muscular hooks held the record for highest selling rock album in the country (until Jet stole the crown only recently), and a band that toured with the likes of The Black Crowes, Van Halen and Robert Plant. But now, the Baby Animals are back, and DeMarchi is putting down her apron, and picking up her old guitar again. Metaphorically, of course.

I believe they only have 30mins on stage at the Gold Coast 600 on Saturday so I'd guess those there will get a fairly 'best of Baby Animals' set as it kinda goes with this sort of territory. The trade off is a lot of people should see a great performance and will know BAs are back. I thought the high points tonight were probably Stitch and Hot Air Balloon which unfortunately could well get left out. Likely too the alternative Rush You version.

the gospel according to BA for some 17 years now. Over the years I've picked up singles withunreleased b-sides and the Australian Tour Edition CD, and even a promo record copany VHS, but I've bemoaned the fact that you guys didn't record more. Doubt you still have the lime-green blouse and leather trousers Suzi! Delighted to hear (belatedly) about the acoustic album, and whispers of a new record...I'll keep my eyes peeled for developments. Gosh, I remember my horror at the review Chris Welsh (is that right, it was sooo long ago!) gave you in Kerrang. It was so idiotic, I think they had to review it again and gave it 4 out of 5, never saw that happen before or since. I actualy wrote a few pieces for Kerrang shortlay after that but I am a mainstream journo now. Still passionate about music too. Have a root through your archives guys - love to hear some live shows if they were ever captured...my god, if that Belfast show is available I'll consider selling my two lwee lads into slavery to obtain a copy (only joking!). Hope you guys, and all belonging to you, are happy and well .
