Thanks for the link Pete. Its sad and disappointing when it comes to things like this within a band.

It is a shame when a band breaks up. I see Suze and Dave as the face of Baby Animals and their shows this year ROCKED!!!! Love u guy's..

That's disappointing. I agree that Suze and Dave disrespected fans by not properly informing them that half the band had changed prior to their tour. The majority of fans would have preferred the whole package and I for one see Frank and Eddie as integral to the sound as anyone. I guess, you never really know what has gone on and it's all speculation but I must say it did leave me feeling a little empty. Always comes down to money and power in the end. Kind of takes away the appeal of that magic of 4 people coming together to create kick arse original music. That's life though! Not too many things stay the same - would have been cool though.

Well put Adam; my excitment to see the whole band live again after last year was soon dampened when I found out by default that Farnk & Eddie would not be part of the band this time around; they are more than just a backline they were an integeral part of the sound that made the Baby Animals what they were. The January shows were good but definately not the same. Anyway life goes on and I hope Frank & Eddie pop up again soon; if anyone hears anything please let me know.

whoa that all sounds bad, really a shame. I just wonder now what Suze's and Dave's points of view are... Nonetheless, I hope the record comes out soon and rocks.
Thanks for the link tho...

Very interesting reading. The music industry has undertones of underbelly, always has and always will I guess. Unfortunately it's usually the talent that misses out, and pen pushers that are left sitting pretty.
I too was disappointed not to see Frank and Eddie in the line up, but I have to say I was not at all disappointed in the performances of the new guys Mick and Matty, both brilliant muso's in their own right, just goes to show the depth of talent in this country .

Hmmm, that does sound horrible. I agree it would have been abit nicer to have had an explanation (for the fans), I found out Frank and Eddie weren't going tp be on tour from the clip on youtube....

I worked with Baby Animals and Bad Loves in 1993 (I think that was the year) and actually have a snare skin signed by many of the people on the tour. Frank and Eddie were Di - Fuken - Namic I watched the new band on TV live the other day and was not impressed one bit... Buy I guess for those who have nothing to compare with - Watch some of the early gigs on You Tube Suze was not the band - They were a tight unit - To a hard to impress old roadie like me - That's saying a lot Cheers SpOoK

I think Suze has turned into an American... It has happened to other good Aussies... Keith Urban for example *chuckle
