Hi everyone, I know there's a couple of people here at least from the 'Gong, so I thought I'd give a heads up to a cool fundraiser gig that's in the pipeline for the end of Feb. As you may or may not know, Wollongong City Football Club (formerlly the Wollongong Wolves) has now become a community run club. There's a good chance they'll be having a fundraiser on Friday Feb 27th at the Fraternity Club in Fairy Meadow. A heap of fantastic Wollongong bands are going to lend a hand for the night. So far Bulldoze All Bowlos, Hytest, BugGiRL and BabyMachine have volunteered their time for the show and there's a posibility that one of the best 60's garage/punk bands in Australia at the moment, The Pink Fits will play as well. I've been told it'll be $5 on the door. Well worth it! Take my word for it, if you want a great mix of rock'n'roll - you'll love this line up (everything from 60's Garage/Punk/Fuzz to early British Heavy Metal). You can check them out live at my youtube page - au.youtube.com/user/Karena78

Yeah, there was another fundraising show at the Frat on Good Friday - it was awesome! Leadfinger, Bulldoze All Bowlos, The Nice Folk, The Spills & Ye Luddites performed.
There may also be a third show - I'll post details as it comes to hand.
I'd recommend attending The Cabbage Tree Hotel on May 9th for The Unheard (awesome 60's garage fuzz punk band that's been treading the boards around town for over 20 years!) + BabyMachine as they launch this venue again.
