Woohoo! They're playing Waves in Wollongong! I think I may need to take a week off work and go for a little drive... The best part about this tour, apart from seeing them live again is that they used one of my photos on the poster

I can't believe there is no Perth date!!!! I really hope they announce some or even one show over here. Otherwise I will have to trek to the east. AND THEY ARE FROM PERTH TOO!!! Maybe they are planning something big for us.

Looking forward to the shows. I'll probably turn up to the Wollongong, Revesby, Rooty Hill & Metro shows - anyone else from here going to any of these? I'll be easy to spot - down the front with SLR Camera in hand shooting away Prior to the Metro show, I'll probably be across the road at the Cheers bar enjoying a Bulmers or two

Oh, this is just the beginning! They'll be going all over with this release (Il Grande Silenzio shows were just a taster), so go bug your local venues to bring them in near you when they get out again. Hmm... beer pre-show and camera up front for the show... *SIIIIGH* I'm on such the wrong side of the planet. :-P

Hooray for possible Perth shows, otherwise I too will be looking for cheap flights to the East. By the way, I don't think there would be any local venues that wouldn't take them. And if not, then shame on them.

Well, we (as in you and I) don't know when they'll be out again, so if you need your BA Fix, you might want to check those cheap flights. I just know that the band wants to get to everybody, but I also know life happens. Like Suze said in the Press Release: "we have to get it when we can"

hang on there... let me... climb out of the hole i seem to be digging deeper for myself... i reread my posts and i'm not even clear to myself! :-P okay! what i'm trying to say is, People of Perth and other cities that the band has not visited this tour or last, please do not get frustrated because this is a full release (as in newly written songs) and the band is excited to share it live with everyone because that's what they love to do. the logistics worked out for the current set (they made sure to add cities not in the last bunch), but they don't intend on that being the end. the Il Grande Silenzio tour was a limited tour from the start - think of that as a quick hello before the actual visit... they have made a choice to reunite, and that means longterm new songs and accompanying tours. so this is just the start. what we see now is just that... what we see for now. however, i used to keep up closely with another favorite musician and i can without doubt, tell you that unless something actually happens, it may not happen. plans are made, intentions are heartfelt, venues may even be booked and tickets sold, but everything and anything can hit the fan (pun not intended) at any point and prevent things from going through on either end (personal stuff, work stuff, mother nature, alien invasions... everything). because that's life. so if you can make it to any shows, my vote would be to go for it!
