Not quite beamboy1. There is still a hint of life.
Wow this is great news. I hope the tour extends to other states, namely Perth. Surprised at the new bass player. Still hopeful for this new album.

No problem jorgan666, this was taken from the set list I snagged ( the bass player's....scan to come) after the gig.
Also I was lucky to get a huge poster from the venue as well. And.........met Suze (photo) and Dave as they were leaving but couldn't find a texta to get the poster signed. Might try to get it signed at the rescheduled Chelsea Heights gig as that was cancelled on Saturday night due to Suze blowing her voice the night before at the Trak Bar. PS. There was a security guy standing on the stage as the equipment was being packed up...... his number.....666! ( I should have taken his photo!)

Hey beamboy, I went to Trak on Friday night. They didnt play Make it End at that show. They didnt do the sunnyboys cover (unless i thought it was a new one?) Out of the new songs they played Warm bodies and Under your skin. They played another 2 i think? one which had something about Ocean's in it.. Great song! Clearly the break up (with Nuno) has influenced alot of the new songs. One thing that annoys me is most# of the B.A fans at these gigs, it seems they dont get too excited about the new songs, they just want the hits! It frustrates me!

SO GOOD to see some activity one which had something about Ocean's in it.. Great song! I suspect that song was Bonfire(s). Heard it at the gig at the Annandale Hotel in Sydney on 21/10/2011 (which I didn't post after coz it seemed that nobody was home). On one hearing I though it was as good as anything th ey've done. Looking forward ;D ;D ;D Oooh yeah... to hearing it again on Sat at Belmont 16s.

One thing that annoys me is most# of the B.A fans at these gigs, it seems they dont get too excited about the new songs, they just want the hits! It frustrates me! Me too. Hate it. I really like most post-Shaved stuff that they've played, notably Hot Air Balloon and Stitch. I'll go off more for that than Painless anyday. And rarities like hearing Baby Animals (the song) at Doyalson in 2009. Other bands are plagued with that more though. Choirboys do Paradise, everybody's up and as soon as it's finished... gone. Same reason, really hope I can get a ticket to Cold Chisel's launch of No Plans next month (surely they'd play most of the new stuff at a launch). I feel blessed that I've seen this (other) one of my all-time favourite bands 4 times in the last 28 months, 2 still with Steve, but really want see other than another "Best of Cold Chisel" show.

Oh, and beamboy and suzefan - did you notice that the new bass player is Dario Bortolin? Great player, his worked with lots of people including a long time with Jimmy Barnes - possible whan Dave was with him too. Can't remember. I've seen him do other stuff with Mick Skelton too (like a 10-hot-guitarist Hendrix night which Dave was also a part of).

Fantastic show at Belmont (as to be expected). Similar set, One Word replaced Break My Heart and Warm Bodies was done earlier. Discipline was on the setlist but left out. New songs great and well recieved by the sell-out crowd.
Nice anchor by new recruit Dario Bortolin. Probably the best One Too Many I've ever heard. Heard that he and Mick are again the rhythym section for another many-guitarist (including Dave) Hendrix show in June, this time in Melbourne.
