Hello there everyone !
I'm from France and I registered today to this forum to learn a bit more about the band Baby Animals.
In fact, I just found a Baby Animals vinyl record from 1993 while sorting my things out at home. I can't listen to it for I don't have a record player, so I tried to track down some info on the web... I think it's pretty rare because I found nothing about it.
The back of the sleeve says :
BA001 No. 1 of 3
A... Buputa* (DeMarchi/Parise/Leslie) 3:59
B... Ain't Gonna Get* (DeMarchi/Elson) 2:56
*Taken from the forthcoming album - Shaved and Dangerous
Maybe it's some kind of promotional release ? It's kind of weird there were just three copies made ?!
Any info would be welcome !
See you !

Hi BA fanz I met Suze on the gig they did with the Angels. At Stewarts Alexandra Hotel on the Sunshine Coast about 1991?? They had won a competition to be included on the Angels EP if I remember correctly All a bit hazy now ha ha . She wandered down and introduced herself while we were setting up Front of House. We were busy and a bit short with her - coz we thought she was the 'merch girl' (the chicks who sell T-Shirts *Chuckle)... Anyway into the night went on and through a smoke filled room I spotted her on the mike - Faaarrk that's that little chick! I remember looking at the veins in her throat as she belted into the first song..... I was in love (as were most of the punters in the room) Next time I got to work with them was on a 'mini' tour in SE Queensland with Baby Animals and The Badloves. One of my favorite gigs of all time - n believe me I'd done a few. We did about 6 gigs in 7 days if I remember right. That's when I collected a drum skin and got as many of the band to sign it as I could - Still got it. I liked the band so much I was going to get the 'Baby Animals' logo tattooed on my back... But sadly Frank and Eddie are not included and now Baby Animals is nowhere near the same . They were a tight unit - Now they are very average... Bad move Suze and Dave : (

Wecome to the forum oldroadie! Love to hear about some of your other experiences and great gig memories But sadly Frank and Eddie are not included and now Baby Animals is nowhere near the same . They were a tight unit - Now they are very average... Bad move Suze and Dave : ( I too miss Frank and Ed. They were an awesome rhythm section and great blokes. But unfortunately something's changed. See thebabyanimals.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=generalband&action=display&thread=94&page=1#296 with link there to Dave's own words He'd also made the statement that without the change this tour wouldn't have happened. It's a tough call to say they're no good / not as good now when (as you mentioned in another thread) you only saw them on TV. This year's line up absolutely kicked ass live - I guess you might have looked through some of the 'Live' thread already. The Metro was awesome. Really hope I/we get to see them again and maybe with something new - alas, all seem to have gone quiet at the moment. ..... I was in love (as were most of the punters in the room) Sure been there

I'm so happy to see BA back in action!
I live in upstate New York in the US and discovered The Baby Animals when they released their debut CD in the early 1990's.
I love the first CD and frequently put it in rotation for my listening pleasure. Unfortunately, I never got to see them in concert.
It will be great to see a new album from BA.

Hi everyone...I'm Tracy and I live in Indiana in the U.S. I'd have to say I'm pretty new to the BA and honestly I'd have to admit I found them because of my love of Nuno. BUT I absolutely LOVE them! Suze's voice is amazing and she's just beautiful. The biggest frustration to me is that I can't seem to find her Telelove CD here. It's the only one I don't have, but I'll keep working on it! Looking forward to new tunes from the BA!

Hi Tracy, welcome to the boards Didn't realise how hard Telelove is to track down these days -- had a quick search of the usual reliable Aussie online sites and nothing. There's a couple on eBay at the moment with international postage -- and one of them's got a reasonable starting price. Keep at it, it's a great album!

I've had my eye on e-bay for quite some time. Bid on a couple but because of work schedule and time difference (they are Aussie sellers!) I miss the bid. I'm still watching and won't give up!
Thanks for the help!
