WOWEE! WHAT A SHOW!
Last night was the best show I've seen Baby Animals do (well that's only 5 - but still...)
I can't give the set list - but it was very similar to the other shows with a couple of special guests added to the mix.
Richard Clapton came out on stage halfway through (whilst Suze went for a top change before she had a wardrobe malfunction...) and he performed a blistering version of I Am An Island with the boys.
As you all probably know, Nuno and the kids are on the tour also - well, Nuno came onstage to perform a few numbers with the band during the encore - great stuff! I believe they played "Get the funk out" - not sure if that's the title - but it was great! Suze also brought the kids on stage for a little dance - what a gorgeous moment - loved how she said - that's the future of rock'n'roll standing over there.
The interactions between Suze and Nuno were priceless - they were having a blast being on stage together. Wish I could've filmed the entire event.
Of course, being the Metro - it sounded and looked great! Best mix of the 3 shows I've heard - Suze was crystal clear in the vocals - a revelation to many of the crowd by the looks on their faces
I'll put up what photos I have later today - couldn't get many because of the Metro's camera rules and I left it too late to go down the front in the media area to take many shots, sorry everyone. Hopefully I got something good.
So here's to the new album when it get recorded and released and to the next tour (hopefully of one of many!). The candle's burning brightly with this lot!
And oh yeah - if you're in Wollongong - grab a copy of the Mercury today for a laugh at the centerfold photo of me. Haha! If not, go to my flickr page.
